Our Roots
Meet Our Foundation Pair. We searched Western Canada to bring together two outstanding Akitas from completely separate regions, maximizing genetic health & ensuring a low Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) for their puppies.
The Mother: “TIMBER” is a stunning Red base Reverse Brindle & White (Northern Alberta Lineage). A striking black-dominant brindle with classic Irish white markings produced by a Red & White pinto father & Black & white mother.
The Heart of the Home: She completely breaks the internet stereotypes. She lives peacefully with four other female dogs, loves cats, and is incredibly gentle with seniors and children.
The Father: “TORQUE” is a very handsome Red base Brindle Pinto (Southern Manitoba Lineage). A magnificent white-bodied pinto with large, bold brindle patches produced by a solid white father & a fawn & white with black overlay mother.
The Stable Guardian: Calm, confident, and aloof in true Akita fashion, yet entirely trustworthy around our cats, all other dogs, and visitors.
7 Years of rearing expertise.
Experience Matters.
A puppy is only as good as the environment it is raised in during it’s first 8 weeks. While our Akitas are a fresh and exciting chapter, this new venture is backed by seven years of multi-generational breeding experience raising registered Poodles and Aussie Doodles. We aren't first-time owners guessing our way through a litter. We bring nearly a decade of hands-on whelping knowledge, socialization protocols, and structural growth expertise to every single Akita puppy we bring into the world. We raised each of our Foundation American Akitas from 8 weeks of age, breaking those myths & developing tried & true methods that will work for you as well.
Akita Myths vs. Our Reality.
If you search the internet, forums will tell you that American Akitas are universally dangerous, hyper-aggressive, and can never coexist with other female dogs or cats. We disagree. And our home proves it.
We believe that genetic stability combined with advanced household integration creates a versatile companion. Our puppies are raised right in the middle of our busy home, exposed from day one to: Multi-dog household dynamics (including multiple females). Daily interactions and boundaries with household cats. Diverse human socialization. We don't breed for extreme, unmanageable aggression. We breed for the true, historic Akita temperament: intensely loyal, naturally protective, but balanced, sensible, and safe.
